It’s so good to be fully back in the swing of things! Leadership Grove kicked off on Thursday, September 15 after a 2 year pause due to the Covid epidemic. The class hosts 16 fresh faces eager to learn all about the importance of good character, vision, leading by example, and sincerely caring for others. Leadership Grove has nine sessions which take on many aspects of the Grove and the Grand Lake area and will end in January with a graduation ceremony.

Thank you to entrepreneur Joel McCorkle and Elizabeth West, West Counseling & Strategy, our guest speakers, who took time out of their busy lives to be with us.

The session ended with a scavenger hunt which divided the group into four units and ended at The Regatta on Grand to wrap up the day.

Those attending Leadership Grove are Laura Davila, City of Grove – City Hall; Todd Franke, AmeriSpec Inspection Services – Todd Franke; Elsie Grover, INTEGRIS Health Grove Hospital; Lisa Halstead, INTEGRIS Health Grove Hospital; Diane Robert Hampton, Northeast Tech; Kristy Hanes, Local Bank; Karen Hensley, Public Service of Oklahoma; Grant Jones, City of Grove; Karen Smith-Maroot, Esano Corporation; Michael O’Herin, City of Grove; Scott Palmer, McGraw Realtors – Grand Lake; Rachel Paquin, Grand Savings Bank; Karyn Tomczak Pesich, City of Grove; Nicole Nagle-Reynolds, Har-Ber Village on Grand Lake O’ The Cherokees; Kaylee Wallace, Grand Lake Family YMCA; Anita P. Williams, Williams Homes.

We are looking forward to some great sessions.  Congratulations to all that were nominated!
