Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting Lendonwood Gardens

0Comments

The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors gathered for a ribbon cutting at Lendonwood Gardens this morning. Lendonwood Gardens has joined a nationwide effort to save the Monarch butterflies. The effort all started with an idea by Melba Dagy and was funded by a grant from the Grove Rotary Club. Many different types of plants that attract butterflies are found in the garden including Verbana, Zinnias, Ox-eye Sunflower, Fire Pink, Lantana, Marigold, Liatris, and Purple Coneflowers. The Chamber would like to recognize Lendonwood Gardens for all of the things that they do for our community. It is truly a huge task and the hard work that is involved in keeping the gardens up shows. The seasonal changes are amazing all twelve months of the year.

Attending the ribbon cutting were Jay Alexander, Grand Savings Bank; Brent Malone, Grove Area Chamber; Nick Bowers, Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative; Rob Cunningham, ATMS Consulting; Louise Steffen Templin, Individual Member; Dalton Homan, Edward Jones; Melba Dagy, Lendonwood Gardens; Larry Toigo, Lendonwood Gardens; Michelle Norwood, Lendonwood Gardens; Cheryl Flood, Realtor, Legacy Real Estate; Pauline Hale, Lendonwood Gardens; Jim Reynolds, Lendonwood Gardens; cutting the ribbon Jim Corbridge, Lendonwood Gardens; Jane Montgomery, Lendonwood Gardens; Ela Johnson, Lendonwood Gardens; Kathi Sikorski Signs by Sikorski; Cindy Reynolds, Lendonwood Gardens; Myra Nelson Noteboom, Individual Member; Ken Noteboom, Individual Member; and Donnie Crain, president of Grove Area Chamber of Commerce.
