NEO Golden Norsemen Sophomore Guard Julian Mackey was just selected the Region 2 Men’s Basketball Player of the week for the Week of December 5th through the 11th.  Mackey helped lead the Norse to a 3-0 week culminating in a win on Saturday night at #1 ranked Indian Hills.  Julian averaged 24.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 3.0 steals per game over the three contests.  At the Indian Hills Hy-Vee Classic, Mackey scored 30 points vs. Northeast CC then 28 points vs the host Warriors.  On the season, Julian is leading NEO in scoring at a pace of 19.9 points per game.
