Under the direction of first-year head coach, Samantha Smith, the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Lady Norse volleyball team beat Seminole State College 3-1 on October 25, 2022, to clinch the Region II Championship.
“We are extremely proud of the young women on our volleyball team and the leadership that our first-year coaches Sam and Janette have displayed,” said NEO Athletic Director Joe Renfro. “This is an interesting group that accomplished a lot throughout the season and continued their success into the postseason. These ladies are committed and working hard. It will be exciting to see how it all unfolds.”
“This group of girls have grown tremendously since day one and have faced more obstacles than most,” said Samantha Smith, NEO head volleyball coach. “I couldn’t be prouder of them and their fight through the entire season.”
