Of the 1,600 people living in Locust Grove in 2019, 53.3 percent (852) were women and 46.8 percent (748) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NE Oklahoma News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 475-to-387. In the 65 and over age range, there were 135 females and 106 males.
