The Boots and Badges Blood Drive was held yesterday in Jay and hosted by the Boys and Girls Club. The blood drive was for a good cause and is an opportunity for first responders to donate blood. Sheriff Beck, Undersheriff O’Neal, several employees, and friends donated blood yesterday. County Treasurer Susan Duncan was even spotted giving blood yesterday. Everyone was a winner but the sheriff’s office had the most donors with a total of 15. Sheriff Beck would like to thank everyone who donated. Sheriff Beck is proud of the sheriff's office employees dedication to being public servants.
