Delaware County Sheriff's Office Purchase of 2 K9 Dogs

Sheriff Beck would like to thank the Board of County Commissioners for their support this morning. The commissioners unanimously approved the purchase of 2 K9 dogs and to pay for the training of the handlers. The handlers that are chosen will attend a 240-hour C.L.E.E.T. certified K9 training. These K9’s will greatly enhance the sheriff’s office ability to fight illegal drugs and shows the sheriff’s office commitment to reducing crime in our county. The K9 units will be available upon request by other law enforcement agencies in our county. HONORABLY SERVING OUR COMMUNITIES
