Sheriff Beck would like to congratulate Jacob Sherman, Kevin Cohen, Ciara Jarret, Jessie Downing, Thomas Johnson and Donna Johnson on being selected as the newest members of the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Reserve program. There is still time to apply for the upcoming reserve academy if you are interested in being a reserve for Delaware County. The reserves are a volunteer program and are an important component of Sheriff Beck’s goal of continuing to increase law enforcement services to our communities. Captain Dusty Smith is in charge of the reserve program and his commitment to both the reserve program and our county is greatly appreciated. Sheriff Beck believes that for the sheriff’s office to be successful you must have community-oriented policing and be active in building and fostering community partnerships.
