Teacher Prep students participated in a Prospective Teachers Academy presented by Dr. Jennifer Burris from the University of Central Oklahoma. Dr. Burris went over all the education degrees UCO offers. She also gave valuable insight into the application process and how to maximize scholarship opportunities. Students enjoyed hands-on activities and discussion that highlighted characteristics of successful teachers. The academy was both informational and inspiring for future educators.
